So I have been trying to learn options the past several months want to give a big shoutout to @Stephanie Macharia for helping me.
So with the market having a light pull back to start this year off I began to look for places that were over sold. I have already been following SOXL thanks to @Tyler J. O'Bryant and I noticed it was down 20% in the first 5 days of the year.
This is a leverage etf that tracks semi conductors. I went very aggressive because I felt this etf was oversold with all the technology we use we still need semi conductors.
On Monday I bought 31 call contracts for strike price of $60 Feb 18 2022. This turned out to cost me $17,540. As of Tuesday at market closed they are worth $26,892. That is a profit of $9,352. I will be looking to exit this trade on a pull back but I will keep everyone updated.
